Materials:
- 3 mm Czech Fire Polished Crystal, White AB, 28 beads
- 4 mm Czech Fire Polished Crystal, Crystal AB, 14 beads
- Size 11 Japanese Seed Beads, Clear
- 7-loop Gold Plated Hoops
- White Beading Thread, 2 pieces about 3 ft long
- Beading Needle
Step 1: Thread the needle and string on a stop bead leaving a 2 inch tail. Pass the needle through the first loop of one of the hoops.
Step 2: String on 2 seed beads, 1 3 mm crystal and 1 seed bead. Pass the needle through the crystal bead and the 2 seed beads. Pass the needle through the loop.
Step 3: Repeat step 2 to add fringe to the back of the loop, then pass the needle back through the loop towards the front. Add 2 seed beads, a 4 mm crystal and 1 seed bead. Pass the needle through the crystal and the 2 beads.
Step 4: Pass the needle back through the loop towards the back of the hoop and bring it back up through the adjacent loop. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add fringe to the loop. For each loop, use 2 3mm crystals and 1 4 mm crystal.
Step 5: Repeat steps 2 and 3 only this time instead of 2 seed beads, increase the number to 4.
Step 6: In the next loop repeat the same process, increasing the number of seed beads to 5.
Step 7: Continue adding fringe, decreasing the number of seed beads to mirror the other side (4, 2, 2).
Step 8: Once the fringe is complete, begin adding seed beads to hide any showing thread. Do so by passing the needle through a loop, adding a seed bead and passing through the next loop. Be careful not to catch any fringe with the thread.
Step 9: Continue adding beads until you reach the starting point. Weave the thread towards the tail. Remove the stop bead and make a knot with both threads. Trim and repeat all steps for the other earring.
