Stamped Daisy Earrings
Similar to the Vintage Watch earrings, these stamped earrings were made from recycled plastic packaging and just a few other materials. You can save plastic sheets from electronics and other products that come packaged in plastic. You can also use acetate sheets to make these. This is a great way to incorporate stamping into jewelry-making to make very distinctive pieces. The images are stamped with Stazon ink which is a permanent ink that will not smear or rub off. For these earrings I also recycled some tarnished chain that was previously part of some costume jewelry. The tarnish gave it an antique look, so I used findings with a similar finish.

Step 1: Use Stazon ink to samp 2 images on the plastic packaging or acetate sheet. Once the ink dries cut out the images in square shapes and round the corners so that there are no sharp edges.
Step 2: Use the thumb-tack to poke holes on one corner of each square as shown below.
Step 3: Place a bead on each head pin and form a simple loop.
Step 4: Cut two pieces of chain to about 1 inch and attach them to the stamped squares using jump rings.
Step 5: Add three cube beads to each chain and then connect the ear wires.
