Beaded Rhinestone Earrings
These diamond-shaped beaded earrings are lightweight and easy to make. To make the beaded earrings stiffer, try passing through the beads a few times once you finish them. You can also brush the back of the earrings with a light coat of clear nail polish to help them keep their shape.

Step 1: Cut a length of thread to about 24 inches. Leaving a tail of about 2 inches, make a knot in back of the rhinestone montee.
Step 2: Pass the thread through one of the holes on the rhinestone. String on 5 seed beads and pass through the next hole on the rhinestone. When you come out on the other side, add 5 more seed beads and pass through the next hole. Repeat this step until you have 4 "petals".
Step 3: When you complete the last petal, pass the needle through the rhinestone and the first 2 seed beads of that "petal", as shown below.
Step 4: String on 5 seed beads and pass the needle through the last 2 seed beads on the left petal.
Step 5: Pass through the rhinestone and through the first 2 seed beads on the opposite petal. String on 5 seed beads and pass the needle through the last 2 seed beads on the next petal.
Step 6: Repeat steps 4-5 until you have 4 more "petals"
Step 7: Pass the need through the rhinestone and last 2 seed beads of a petal. String on a 3 mm fire polished bead and pass through the last 2 seed beads on the other side of the petal.
Step 8: Pass the needle through the rhinestone and the last 2 seed beads on the opposite petal. Add a 3 mm bead and repeat the process until you have added 4 fire polished beads.
Step 9: Weave the thread to the top most bead on one of the petals and pass through the bead. Add 4 seed beads and pass through the same bead to make a loop.
Step 10: Attach the earring findings to the loop using small jump rings. Repeat all steps for the other earring.
